Nearly Autumn.

Posted on Updated on

The cafe reopened today, and that means the end of the peaceful period whereby there were only three of us residing at the centre, because everyone else went to a big festival in The Lake District. Now, all residents are back… actually no, that’s a lie. Everybody will be back on Thursday; we’re a teacher and a second director down, but when they return on the 25th (which is Thursday), we’ll be a full-house again, and everything kicks back into action.

Which essentially means Summer is nearly over. That shouldn’t be much of a shock, because it’s almost September, but when you’ve had this concept of a nice easy summer, and in fact you’ve spent it working, writing, having a creative breakdown, and generally not really doing stuff, the time seems to have gone too fast. September, wow, really, we’re almost in autumn.

Yep, autumn.

Seriously.
